Having grown up in Humilau City, they’ve watched as their home around them was ruined by commercial development. They felt it was up to them to prevent the Pokemon that had made their homes in the area after officials refused to do anything about it. They joined forces with a gang of rowdy youths that banded together to prevent the construction of all real estate encroaching on the coast.[break][break] After a string of crimes, their gang’s hideout was busted by police. By some stroke of luck, Aqua evaded capture and stowed away on a ship headed to parts unknown. When they reached land, Hoenn lay before them. The world was still vibrant and the peaceful shores had remained untouched by the greedy developers here.
